CHAPTER 13: There Was an Old Woman She Had So Many Children She Didn’t Know What to Do 

(Rosa). The children don't behave. they jump bend tress and almost break vases. Everybody stopped worrying about them because they don't listen. 

CHAPTER 14: Alicia Who Sees Mice 

2.Alicia's mom died, because Alicia is the oldest, she's the one that is now to make breakfast and lunch box tortillas. She is sleepy, young and smart and studies at the university, She has transportation problems. (trains and bus). she fears the father.

CHAPTER 15: Darius and the Clouds 

3.When they are sad, they look at the sky and fall asleep and wake up. It keeps them safe. Darius said something they thought it was wise. That cloud next to the one that looks like popcorn, that one there is god. 

CHAPTER 16: And Some More 

4. Lucy, Rachel, Nenny and Esperanza talk about names. Esperanza tells them that Eskimos have thirty different names for snow. Rachel counters with a story about her cousin who has many names, in English and Spanish. They talk about what each cloud looks like, describing one like “your face when you wake up after falling asleep with all your clothes on.” Rachel and Lucy start teasing Esperanza about her puffy face, and the girls begin insulting each other, half-seriously. 

CHAPTER 17: The Family of Little Feet 

5. She starts to talks about a family describes them, saying that they have little hands , hight was not tall and their feet were little. She describes the Grandpa  Grandma's, the baby's and mother's feet. The girls receive a bag with a pair of lemon shoes, a red pair and dancing shoes that used  to be white but were now pale blue from the mom. Their feet fit perfectly, and Rachel's tries the high heels and she learn's to walk the best. Everyone was looking at them and Mr. benny at the corner grocery tells them that those shoes are dangerous and that he's gonna call the cops. They start to run. There. bum man(drunk) and Rachael asks if he likes those shoes and he tells her that those shoes make her look pretty and he wants a kiss from her and he'll give her a dollar. They run to Mango Street. Lucy hides all their shoes under a bushel on the pack porch and until her mom throws them away and no one complain.

CHAPTER 18: A Rice Sandwich 

Esperanza wants to eat lunch in the “canteen,” where kids eat if their homes are too far from school for them to eat at home. She asks her mother to write her a note and make her a sandwich. At first she refuses, but finally she gives in, and makes Esperanza a rice sandwich. But when she gets in line in the lunchroom, a nun tells her she must get permission from the Sister Superior. Esperanza goes to her office, and the Sister Superior tells her her house isn’t far enough away for her to stay for lunch. She asks her which house is hers, pointing out the window, asking, “That one?” Esperanza nods, even though it’s the wrong house, and even uglier than her own. She starts to cry, and the nun lets her stay at school just for that day. She goes to the canteen, which is “nothing special,” and eats her lunch, crying, while the other children stare at her.
